Andrew Jefford | Deep red-black. Sweet and attractive aromas, but irresolute, lacking precision and definition, and with some sense of mixed ripeness and oak. On the palate, by contrast, there is no mixed ripeness, though the oak is still evident: this is a sound mid-weight with some density of classic plum fruits. It actually needs a year or two for that oak to soften out. 2018–23. | 89
Michael Schuster | Lightly plummy nose, still closed; quite a muscular constitution at the fruit level, moderate in concentration, firm in tannin; a chewier style of Pomerol, a nice core fruit within a firm, gently muscular tannin frame. Good, gently chunky, lesser Pomerol. 2021–30+. | 89
