Alison Buchanan: A beautiful, glittering amber in hue, this is essence of citrus on the nose, with grassy wild herb notes, honeysuckle and puff-candy notes. The palate is super-ripe and candied, orange zest, caramelized star fruit, nuts, and barley sugar all playing a role. There is some energy and focus but ultimately the balance is too rich—very obvious on the finish, which is overwhelmingly sweet. | 84

Andrew Jefford: Light, glowing orange-amber in color. Malt-extract, grain-store scents, like the sweet first cousin to a whisky mash. Light, simple, and toothsome: liquid barley sugar. Delicious. | 85

Margaret Rand: Honey and melon nose, quite juicy and grapey. Tea and cream palate, like scones and strawberry jam. Very sweet and soft. Pretty and plump. | 92
