BUY THE WINE

Alison Buchanan: Very pale amber, this offers a rather hedonistc nose—a blend of nut praline and bright, cramelized orchard fruit, wild herbs and lime marmalade. The palate has drive, energy, and an attractive focus, fine-honed acidity and attractive vitality—decadent but rather lovely. | 90

Andrew Jefford: Deep mid-gold. A slightly strange, animal sweetness here; not entirely pristine. Full and fat on the palate, though a little flat; and those slight animal flesh tones are disconcerting. Only a modest success in the global context. | 80

Margaret Rand: Nutty, leafy nose; bright, fresh palate. Very good acidity, grapey fruit, good balance. Thick texture. Very agreeable but needs more complexity to be really good. | 87
