Michael Schuster | Merlot blackberry and plum to smell; concentrated and vital, firm but fine in tannin, an overall vigorous impression; ripe, long, tasty, delicious, with a most appetizing acidity, gravelly in the background and with a vivid fruit length. A classy Tronquoy, very nice indeed. At a recent “Ten Year” tasting, the 2008 was one of the standout values. 2023–33+. | 90–91
