Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Immensely successful, probably thanks to the talent of the two gifted female enologists who are now in charge of winemaking. Deliciously smooth texture, amazing aromatic intensity, as well as the evidence of the expression of a great terroir. Do not miss it. It is the equal or the better of some first growths. Tasted four times, with the same impressions. | 96

Michael Schuster | Light, fresh red-fruit nose, lightly mineral; medium-full Gruaud, fresh and lightly tannic; refined, sweet-fruited, fairly delicate in style, a marked red-fruit fragrance (very much in much of the year’s style), moderately complex, and with nice length. Good, but overall a delicate wine and, on the evidence of this sample, without the noticeable step up in depth and class that it has had in recent years. 2026-40+. | 90–92?
