Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Very fine, velvety texture as usual for the estate, delicious smoky notes already present. A sovereign of seduction. | 94

Michael Schuster | Mineral-backed and gravelly to smell; elegant, concentrated, very lively in acidity, firmly tannic; deep, firm, strong, ripe and vivid, a Long-term vital wine, oaky, dense, gently muscular, but at the moment speaking of its winemaking as much as its origin, long in the mouth, very ripe, gently chewy, and with fine length. Will need at least a decade, but the wines do seem to absorb their oak and tannin structure over the medium to long term—ten to 15 years and more, that is. 2028–43+. | 91–92+
