Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | This is one of the successes of the vintage, withatense peppery style and perfectly clear fruit. The palate radiates intensity and restraint. This wine will develop the most beautiful truffle aromas by around 2030. One is carried along, and one revels in it. | 94

Michael Schuster | Very dense to smell, crisp, ripe, red-fruit nose; rich, concentrated, vital in acidity, finely and firmly tannic, a fine balance in a stronger style; crisply sweet, rich, firm-fleshed, long and subtly mineral to taste, elegant and even, and with impressive length of red fruit in particular. On the stronger side for the year, but there’s plenty of structure to see it through, and very fresh alongside the ripeness of flavor. Will need time. 2027–40+. | 92–93
