BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Dense, dark, oaky, faintly raisiny-ripe nose; rich, tannic, muscular, vital; dense, very ripe-fruited, particularly sapid, somewhat chewy in texture, but a long, deep, satisfying wine, generous and muscular, long to taste, mouth-coating, much more ripe fruit than mineral in character, and long to finish. It’s a style that you have to like. It’s good, but it’s not for me! 2026–36+. | 90–92
