Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Violets on the nose, and an initial smoothness on the palate, then one experiences a form of perfection, with an injection of tannins. The mouthfeel is solidly planted, and the finish gives one the thrill of a great vintage. | 96

Michael Schuster | Dense yet restrained to smell, gravel, mineral, red fruit, a suggestion of citrus. On the palate, this is rich and fleshy in its restrained style, fresh in acidity, superfine in tannin; sweetly ripe, subtly juicy, densely aromatic yet transparent, too—a Burgundian combination of delicacy and power, all restraint, effortlessness, grace, with a particular succulence in the year, and in the commune, and terrific persistence. Very fine, particularly sophisticated wine. A great success for the third year running. 2030–50+. | 95-97
