Michael Schuster | Densly ripe and plummy to smell, just heading toward raisins; rich, fresh, finely tannic; an ample expression of the wine, with an abundance of fruit, nicely defined by an acidity that supports the richness and prolongs the finish; a fairly substantial interpretation of the vintage, with the emphasis on fruit and power rather than the aroma and finesse of many. A satisfyingly weighty Rouget, if perhaps without quite the complexity of its best years. 2025–35+. | 90–92
