BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage | Mid-depth, some oranging on the rim. Quiet nose, floral hints. Lively fruit-driven palate, side-to-side acidity but nothing sour; medium length. Good structure/fruit balance, drinking now but will improve. | 89

Bruno Besa | Garnet to tawny. Ripe red and black fruit nose, earthy, a touch rustic, with prunes and morello cherries. Extracted palate with slightly green tannins. Not drinking well at present, but it may soften over the next few years. | 87

Andrew Jefford | Clear, deep garnet red. Light, scrutable scents of earth and the oak copse. Fresh, lively, shapely wine, with firm, curranty red fruits and a little shaping tannin. The acids are ripe and rounded, and this wine comes across as a well-crafted classic of medium depth and density. | 85
