Neil Beckett | More than half of the Pinot Noir was lost, so while the different parcels would normally be fermented separately, this year they were all in one cuve (there will be 8 barrels rather than 22). A lovely nose: delicacy, finesse, harmony, integrity, freshly ripe red fruit and roseate thrill. Fresh, round, silky, perhaps a little more grain to the supportive tannin due to the higher proportion of new wood (50% rather than 30%), but there is no dryness or roughness so it should still integrate well. | 92
