Neil Beckett | Like the other top two Chassagnes, this old-vine parcel was late-harvested, and as there the final balance is perfect. Elegant, floral-mineral amalgam on the nose, without being too florid or hard. Dense, opulent, even richer and weightier than the Blanchots-Dessus, but a fine thread of acidity freshens and sustains it through the long, spiraling finish. Plenty still in reserve. | 93
