BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Deep garnet to pink. Mature black fruits nose and morello cherries, youthful. Mature, a touch overripe on the palate, yet clean, fairly complex and long. | 91

Stephen Brook | Smoky toasty red-fruits nose. Rich and fleshy, concentrated and dense, but there’s a slight bitterness here, and signs of too much extraction. But it’s a solid wine that should be appreciated for its weight of fruit, even if it shows little finesse. Quite long. | 88

Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear black-red. Dense, rich, sweet, but a little soupy. On the palate, this is a sweet-fruited and generous wine with ample fruit and licorice depths; the tannins are generous and bring some sobriety. Hugely enjoyable. | 87
