BUY THE WINE

Jesús Barquín | Deep, almost opaque cherry. The nose is dominated by dairy notes and coconut, not very alluring and confirmed on the palate, which lacks balance, with excessive oak tannins. | 85

Andrew Jefford | Saturatedly dark black-red: midnight black. Poundingly sweet fruits; a touch of toffee. There is some oxidation here, which is a shame, since otherwise this is one of the ripest, deepest, and most substantial wines on the table. It has relatively low acid within the overall peer group; ample, thick textures; and stony-sweet fruit. Despite that toffee-oxidative cast, I would still enjoy drinking this enormously; fine fruits. | 85

Richard Mayson | Very deep, dark opaque youthful color; the first wine here that smells hot and overextracted, distinctly jammy fruit both on the nose and on the palate, lacking in definition, with dusty fruit and a dry tannic finish. Out of balance. | 75
