Neil Beckett | Mid-ruby. Perfectly formed, seemingly, if still very closed on the nose: pure kirsch underneath. A sublime, floating texture, dense but so finely woven, with a beautifully integrated fine seam of acidity. Abundant tannins, but mostly invisible—the flying buttresses supporting the soaring structure, even if the foundations may not be quite so deep as for the Corton-Bressandes (see under Côte de Beaune). | 95
