Bruno Besa | Garnet to orange. Refined, mineral nose, with clean small red fruit, a touch closed but clearly floral. Medium body, sultry and balanced, with a long, sweet finish. | 89
Stephen Brook | Light red-fruits nose. Sleek and polished, this is also forward and lacks grip. There are tannins, even fierce tannins, but they don’t seem integrated, or not yet. However, there is ample concentration, and I’m inclined to think this will harmonize and come into better balance. Spicy and quite long. | 89
Andrew Jefford | Clear, translucent red. Meaty, warm, earthy, and dense; an almost malty richness to the fruits here. Chunky, driving, and vigorous: prominent acidity lords it over the tannins and fruits, but the three elements haven’t lost touch with each other. Generous, well-constructed wine. | 91
