Alex Hunt | Eggy reduction masks all aromas but toasty oak here. The palate is actually really well constructed, acid giving the fresh cherry fruit just enough bite, tannin supporting in the background, lovely vibrancy and intensity. It just needs to settle down a bit. Promising. | 88
Andrew Jefford | Clear, deep red. Reductive, slightly stinky aromas; wheat and cereal grains. Rather stewy, dry, and stretched on the palate; not a wine that I would relish drinking. | 79
Anthony Rose | Starting to show mahogany-like evolved colors; there’s a smoky, meaty note behind the distinctly evolved aromatic character of this Pinot, the fruit starts out with some sweetness and it’s supple in texture, but the tannins are dysfunctionally chunky and dry in comparison, pulling the fruit up just a tad short. Drink now or soon, before the tannins take over. | 87
