Simon Field: Youthful and slightly callow, but first appearances can deceive. with the familiarity of the palate comes acknowedgment that the wine is well structured, with sweet and sour notes in tandem but lacking the concentration and complexity of the very first rank. 14.5
Richard Mayson: Something slightly stale and cheesy on the nose, but very impressive on the palate. Big and bold, but slightly raw. 14
Jancis Robinson: Purplish crimson. Slightly raisiny, slightly woody. Extremely sweet and round with rather dry tannins hidden underneath. A nother wine that could probably be drunk at two different stages. 13
