Margaret Rand: Concentrated blackcurrant and raspberry fruit, roasted and supple. Good balance and tannins, and very long finish. 17

Michael Schuster: Supple middleweight with a fresh acidity and light, dry tannin. Warm, ripe, open, lightly oaky Merlot-dominated flavour (47% Merlot here). Pleasing, fairly straightforward supple Pauillac with good fruit length. A good second wine, but a long way from the best of these this year. 15
