Neil Beckett: Mid-purple. A complex nose, very darkly fruited and strikingly mineral, seeming to recall the blue granite stones from which the property takes its name. Concentrated, dense, and richly structured (85% traditionally vinified in large foudres) but carefully extracted and seductively supple. Characterful, very well-made wine, with excellent length. 16
