Andrew Jefford: Dark, clear purple-red. Warm, meaty-fruity scents, with attractive definition (raspberry and red cherry). Deep, plush, and warm, with lots of gratifying cherry and damson and plenty of textural cladding, too. Excellent, splashy Brouilly— lots of fun. 88

Peter Liem: This shows the concentrated flavors of the vintage and the dark character of the cru, and it remains fresh in feel despite its ripeness. It finishes with firm yet elegant tannins, and it should develop more complexity with age. 88
