Margaret Rand: The tannins are a bit dry, but there’s an appealing roasted-coffee note to the fruit, which comes through well on the finish. 16

Michael Schuster: Dense, charred-oak nose. Medium-full wine with a fine quality, fleshy ripe fruit under a very drying new-wood tannin. Seems to be an excess of oak for the delicate fruit at the moment. 15+?
