BUY THE WINE

Margaret Rand: Silky, perfumed, very expressive; it seems a shame not to drink it now. Refined tannins and very long. 18.5

Michael Schuster: Scented, ripe redcurrant fruit to smell. Lively, medium-full wine, gracefully balanced, finely but firmly tannic. Sweet, fresh, crunchy, ripe fruit, scented and moderately complex; not big, but long in flavour. Typical, relatively delicate style. Good wine, but firm tannins will mean a long wait… and maybe a question mark over the future. 15+
