BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Slightly cloudy colour, refined nose, honest and full-bodied on the palate. Still in the process of developing but already elegantly mouth-filling with bags of potential. Lovely crisp finish with no suggestion of rasping acidity. 14.5

Margaret Rand: Quite oaky, but the structure seems a bit soft. The fruit is good and fresh. 14.5

Michael Schuster: Pale lemon; light melon and guava withatouch of oak cedar on the nose; well-balanced fresh middleweight; dry, ripe flavour, fairly broad style, juicy and long, very attractive. 16
