BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A complete wine for this vintage. Lovely colour, full-bodied and smooth, with more developed aromas and texture than the Canon-la-Gaffelière. 15.5

Michael Schuster: Very ripe, but fresh, black cherry and cassis fruit. Medium-full, well balanced in a modern style, with a dry oak tannin. Ripe, sweet, juicy cassis and black-cherry flavours, nice length across the palate and with a good, medium-length finish. Nicely oaky, but not excessive, new-wave wine. 14.5
