Margaret Rand: Silky and fresh, with complex flavours of roasted coffee and dried fruit. Very refined tannins, supple and elegant. There’s power here, but it’s restrained. 19
Michael Schuster: Mineral and blackberry fruit to smell. Well-constituted and well-balanced middleweight in a fresh and firmly tannic style. Ripe fruit, quite earthily aromatic, moderately complex and with good length. An austere Pomerol, though. Long wait. 15.5
