BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Great apricot nose, good body, smoothness and length, but a bit low on acidity and, consequently, a touch heavy. 14

Margaret Rand: A nice, neat wine, elegant and well structured, with crisp acidity. The finish is sweet, withatouch of honey. 16

Michael Schuster: Well-balanced, lively medium-weight. Sweet and luscious, but with a minerally character, fine clarity, and the tensile character of the best of the year. Fresh, long, lesser Sauternes. 15.5
