BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Tasted at the château. Splendid, very pure citrus aromas. Great balance, a complete wine, powerful, fine, and racy. As always, of a superior standard to some of the premiers crus. 17.5/18

Michael Schuster: Deep yellow gold; a fine, racily fresh and mineral nose; a rich, very nicely balanced combination of high sugar and vital acidity, with distinct mineral aromas behind the sweetness; nice length across the palate and on the finish. Sweetness, finesse, definition. Very nice. 2012–30+. 16/16.5
