Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: The rich texture and concentrated flavors put this on a par with the first growths, in the same style as Yquem. Bravo! 18.5

Michael Schuster: Mid-pale gold; ripe pineapple fresh fruit to smell. Rich, generous, beautifully balanced; plenty of fruit and matter, and lively balancing acidity; elegant, restrained, refined Sauternes, long and sweet across the palate; subtle, nicely detailed, racy, and with a lovely, delicate fruit persistence. Not the projection and length of a really top wine, but a delicious combination of richness, vitality, aromatic finesse, and scope. A top Raymond Lafon. 17.5
