Jancis Robinson: Red/touch of garnet. Big, warm, perfumed, delicious. Excellent structure, wonderful balance; a little austere, but this is a food wine par excellence. Good, long finish, and still vibrantly alive. 18

Jeremy Watson: Strangely lacking in style, yet a good wine to drink. Difficult to pick out any merits, and at the end there is a hint of tiredness. 14.5
