Oz Clarke: Quite full, hint of dishcloth – this glass has been used for at least four wines previously, so it isn’t the glass. Perhaps it’s a little reductive or the oak charring a bit phenolic. Behind this, the fruit is fairly deep and strong – herbs and dark plum. It’s good, but not memorable. 15.5
Alex Hunt: Oaky, modern Bordeaux-style blend. High alcohol, one-dimensional, very nice as far as it goes. Straightforward. 14
Margaret Rand: Bright fruit, good length, nice transparent texture and an elegant, refined finish that goes on and on. Pretty good stuff, this. Nice coffee fruit, good balance. A well-cut, well-focused wine. 17.5
