Oz Clarke: Full, rich, slightly vegetal smell, even a touch of yoghurt, and yet it doesn’t really seem to be a fault. It’s a full, solid mouthful; pretty strong plum and some cherry and spicy oak – and a touch of tomato vegetal that is attractive. Good, not inspiring but attractive, and it does have a nice blackcurrant and sun-dried-tomato finish. 16.5

Alex Hunt: Creamy black-fruit aromas but rather attenuated on the palate. Something missing here – texture, perhaps. Perhaps going through a closed phase. 14.5
