Alison Buchanan: Pretty yellow-gold in colour, this has an interesting nose: a potent rush of white flowers, bitter almond and russet apple. The palate reflects the nose. Correct… but why? Flabby. 9

Nicolas Belfrage: Straw yellow. Neutral but clean, inviting nose. Very good mouthfeel, rich and alcoholic but good acidity behind. Well made of the type – indeed, a lot better than one would normally expect Trebbiano to be. 16

Alex Hunt: There is a whiff of very ripe peach here that suggests a late-picked wine, and the levels of alcohol, fruit and body point to unusual ripeness for the variety. This is, therefore, a fairly off-the-wall style, but there is real character and interest here. It could do withatouch more acidity, though. 15
