BUY THE WINE

Alison Buchanan: Pale gold, this has a little focus on the nose – some spice and tropical fruit. Essentially simple, there are mineral notes that give some interest. Chilled, a decent quaffing and food wine. Simple, though. 12

Nicolas Belfrage: Clean and crisp. Good drinkability but no great complexity. Nicely balanced, no problem drinking the bottle, but without excitement. 14

Alex Hunt: Smells like burnt hair, which is presumably a sulphur issue. Concentrated and dramatic, but the sulphur is far too obvious and obliterates any nuance of flavour. 10
