Alison Buchanan: Very odd nose but not necessarily one that would induce you to taste – a weird blend of citrus/rubber and braising onions and cabbage. Ditto on palate… 2

Nicolas Belfrage: Presumably Valentini, since it’s not-quite-bright slight haze suggests. Very expressive nose – amazing indeed for a Trebbiano, bready biscuity, not unlike Pinot Bianco. A wine quasi-defective, not just for colour but for mouthfeel. A touch of CO2, but bursting with personality and individuality, great presence, great length. Hats off for the total indifference to what the wine world demands. 18

Alex Hunt: This is hazy, which suggests the possibility of microbes remaining in the wine. The spritz and metallic taste suggest they are still alive and kicking. Disgusting flavour and an unacceptable fault. 0
