Neil Beckett: Much more exotic than the Forest, with a nose of ripe peach and spice, even a whiff of white pepper. But not the cloud of unknowing into which many whites of the vintage have disappeared, since there is still a degree of freshness and purity. Floral, gently honeyed, softly textured, with good intensity, but the low acidity renders it rather more doux than usual.
