Neil Beckett: One of three adjacent, distinct, but almost equally good Gevrey- Chambertin premiers crus. The careful chilling and handling of the fruit has preserved some of the sap, while the late picking has produced phenolics that are really ripe. This is the most closed on the nose but the finest and most focused on the palate. Gloriously extracted, rich tannins and very good length.
