Andrew Jefford: Excellent aromas for the vintage: teasingly fragrant hay and straw, with a hint of aniseed. Long, full, even elegant palate, with impressive harmony between the different flavour components: choice, well-defined fruit and the warm, nougat-like overtones of 2003.
