Andrew Jefford: Warm, ripe-fruit scents. The tannins are very assertive and billow all over the fruit at this stage, yet the fruit is there beneath and the mid-palate is balanced. The tannins reassert themselves at the end. Potentially good, providing age brings more (rather than less) balance.
