BUY THE WINE

Stephen Brook: Medium straw. Terrific nose, bracing, mineral, pure, copybook Riesling. Rich, assertive, powerful, quite high alcohol. Very good acidity, peppery, persistent. Unevolved and has a long way to go. Good length. 17.5

Simon Field: Seductive beeswax and lime, then a palate with flint, lime, slate. A structure that boasts complexity, restraint, potential and quality in equal measures. That little extra richness is the key. 18
