Nicolas Belfrage: Quite deep colour. Some fruit on the nose, plen ty of extract on the palate, with a certain am ount of typical cherry fruit. Good length, with quite reasonable character. 14.5

Stephen Brook: Deep red. M uted, b lack-ch erry nose. M edium -bodied, s o ft and rounded, and lush, but with perky acidity. Som ewhat hollow. Sound but unexciting. Quite good length. 16.5

Alison Buchanan: Black bram ble/ruby, firm to a dark rim. Hot rubber on the very tight nose. Concentrated essence of black fruits. The palate is highly extracted but there is real purity here, fruit over wood. It’s ove rextracted for me, but it is impressive. Very rich and highly concentrated. 18
