Andrew Jefford: Pale, bright gold with an edge of lemon-yellow. Gratifyingly little free sulphur and a well-defined, elegant aroma, with vegetal nuances as well as clean russet-apple fruit. Pure, clean, elegant, crunchy apple fruit. Pleasing depth, style and definition. Limpid finish, with scattering of minerals. A really attractive mouthful with some of the solar brilliance of the vintage. Long finish. 16.5

Simon Larkin : Similar in hue to the Gutsverwaltung Niederhausen-Schlossbockelheim Niederhauser Steinberg. The aromas here seem slightly muffled. The palate, while reasonably well balanced, is not overly expressive. Some green lime/citrus notes, with gentle tangy characters and modest persistence. The acidity seems a little too evident on the finish, with a bit of acitric tang. Nonetheless, a good example. 12

Alexander Scott: Similar in character to the Gutsverwaltung Nederhausen-Schlossbockelheim Niederhauser Steinberg, with a bit more depth and grip and length. But I still can't get very excited. 12
