Michel Bettane: Admirable terroir Champagne: elegant, well balanced and strikingly mineral. 17
Simon Larkin : Mid-lemon appearance. Discreet autolytic aromas. The palate is lean, slightly aggressive, quite taut, with discreet toasty nuances. This is clearly a youthful zesty example that promises much with evolution. As it stands, aggression and youthful assertiveness seem to overpower. Reassess in five years. 14
Anthony Rose: Pale yellow-gold. Lightly toasty nose and fruit, quite delicate, with some richness and flavour in a youthful aperitif style, with nice balance. Well-crafted, if not the most complex of Champagnes. 16
