Michel Bettane: Light golden colour; tiny bubbles. Strong terroir characteristics again, not much complexity, no chalkiness, no length and rather bitter. All in all, fairly coarse, with a very vulgar finish. 10
Simon Larkin : Paler than [the Pierre Peters NV and Veuve Fourny NV Brut Blanc de Blancs], Lively bead and noticeable collar. Non-descript aromatics, with an almost Cava-like quality, dare I say it! Not for me. This lacks poise and precision, with a poor expression of fruit and an absence of purity. A clumsy, cumbersome quality dictates. Very average. 7.5
Anthony Rose: Pale yellow-gold; slow-moving, pinprick bubbles. Rather a quiet nose. A touch of immediate sweetness on the palate, quite soft mousse, with tart, appley acidity. Pleasantly crisp and fresh, with appley and citrussy acidity. Simple. 10
