BUY THE WINE

Simon Field: Garnet colouring, seemingly quite evolved in its company, highly volatile and oxidised on the nose. The palate confirms these suspicions with interest. 7

Andrew Jefford: Relatively clear now, and showing some signs of early evolution at rim. Very odd, stewed, compost nose with quite a lot of VA: not a happy wine. Fat, slap-happy, jammy, loose-knit, with no real class, alas. 9

Richard Mayson: Mid-deep colour, purple rim. Badly volatile on the nose. Not tasted. 5
