Tim Atkin : Developed, brick/tawny. Mature colour. Mature nose, showing good, leafy complexity. Attractive, mature palate, with some fruit sweetness and well-integrated oak. Finishes a little green and stalky, but otherwise a very impressive, mature wine that's ready to drink now. 17
Oz Clarke: Fair red, slight turn. On the nose, leaf and a little sour cheese. Palate, not bad. A bit leafy and a touch of slightly barky tannin. But it's a quite attractive, quite full wine, red-fruited, and slightly high on the volatile acidity front, but attractive enough nevertheless. But character? Maturity and personality? No, not really. Perfectly okay. A bit barky and leafy. Not special. Cheese I like, but not in the glass. 13
Michael Schuster: Brick-edged dark red; scented cedary nose; medium full - well balanced, elegant middleweight; fresh, finely tannic; long, even, savoury, minerally. Cabernet - very harmonious; ripe-fruited stylish Cab-based wine with excellent length, very good indeed. 18
