BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Fabulous red-berry and cedar nose, sleek, deep, fleshypalate, deliciously chewy, voluptuous tannins. Without question the most harmonious, most sure-footed wine to have been crafted by this estate for more than a quarter of a century. Tighter texture than the Grand-Puy-Ducasse, with firmer, more mouth-filling tannins and finely judged tannic extraction. 17/18
