Michael Schuster: Dark, dense, concentrated low-yield wine with a firm tannic frame; packed with fruit - all in a fairly solid, chewy style, but with some underlying complexity there, too. Good wine - but will need at least 6-8 years aging. 15+

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Black-cherry and red-berry scents, fleshy, deep body and tight tannins. Good substance. A vigorous wine, a shade over-extracted but with enough substance to improve its balance within a year. 16
