Michael Schuster: Dense cedar and mineral to smell, with more wood showing than usual; well-balanced, fresh medium-weight with a refined tannin nicely supported by the fruit; light, ripe, dry and gently minerally flavour, quite complex and with good scented length. 16
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Firm, intense and fantastically sappy, if a bit rugged due to overbearing tannins. A wine with a great future ahead of it, thanks to skilful crafting, but only just beginning to mellow. 17/18
